Rapper Tinny has rejected talks that he waded into the seeming battle for supremacy between fellow rappers M.anifest and Sarkodie with his recently released track, “Best Rapper”.
According to the artiste who boasts of five albums to his credit since breaking out in 2003, people are getting it “wrong” with their interpretation of the track he released in the second week of July 2016.
In an appearance on the lifestyle segment of GH One TV morning show GH Today Friday, Tinny says the song currently making waves has no link whatsoever with the ongoing beef.
“I’m not supporting anybody [in the beef between M.anifest and Sarkodie] and I believe that this my ‘best rapper’ song, people are getting it wrong,” Tinny told hosts Kafui Dey and Baisiwa Dowuona-Hammond.
Tinny however stated his readiness to battle any rapper who may come after him with a reply to the “best rapper” track.
“I’m ever ready if any artiste wants to go to the studio and go hard on me. I will deal with them straight up.”
He added: “I’m not going to be like EL and say my mother would come or my mama says bring Berla home or… No, no. I will come hard on you straight up. God has given me the talent so I have to use it and make him happy.”
