Ghanaian musicians have been advised not to trust politicians but rather trust God for they (politicians) are mere mortals who can disappoint at any given time. Dadie Opanka made this advice available in an interview with Bridge FM’s reporter Daavi Whyte.

He was reacting to whether or not if he has faith in the policies outlined by various political parties especially both the NPP and NDC for the creative art industry, for which he said he trust no politician for they can fail to deliver. He also said he if they (politicians) happens to fulfill their promises fine if not he is not concerned at all for with God all things are possible.

The “Hajia” hit singer however, condemned the attitude of Ghanaians towards celebraties who goes publicly to endorse political parties, saying they have their right to that. Dadie Opanka vowed never to endorse any political ahead of this year’s election and subsequent ones to follow. Instead he said he’s rather focused on marketing his new album which was launched last week Saturday at the Vienna City Hotel at Tema..

He concluded by calling on politicians to abstain from intemperate languages which can easily spark violence in this election season and as well asked them to also accept the outcome of the poll so as to maintain the peace we have. And to his funs and Ghanaians, he asked them not to allow themselves to be used by the politicians for their selfish gains.
