Prince Michaels, Ghanaian fast-rising music star is out with a new hit single.

A total of 132 persons have so far been confirmed to have been infected with the Coronavirus disease in Ghana.
This comes after 64 new positive cases were announced by the Ghana Health Service on Thursday, March 26, 2020.
Of the 64 new cases, 40 were confirmed among those under mandatory quarantine while the 20 others were confirmed through the Ghana Health Service’s regular surveillance systems of the local population.
Authorities say all the new patients have been isolated and are receiving treatment.
The Minister for Information, Kojo Oppong Nkrumah in response to the calls has given indications that the government may announce restrictions in some parts of Ghana as part of additional measures to stop the spread of Coronavirus in the country.
He said a restriction or any other new precautionary measure the government may adopt will be aimed at curbing a community spread of the disease.
“So far, every step of the way, the government has been very proactive with coming up with measures to contain the situation. Those final rafts of measures now that the law has been put in place may include some restrictions in some parts of the country but whatever will be done will be with the objective of ensuring that we totally negate the potential for community spread,” he said in a Citi News interview.

Focus on Africa on BBC World news on Thursday reviewed the “Mama Grace” EP of Ghanaian music legend, TiC, formally known as Tic Tac on their news live programme.
Touching on why he decided to drop the Tac to shorten his name, he disclosed that it was a move to tweak his over two decades brand and refocus it.
He revealed that throughout his career, he’s been called TiC, and felt the need to make it official to spice up his reinvigorated brand.
On the choice of Mama Grace as the EL title, TiC told BBC Focus on Africa, that it was named after his mother as way to express his appreciation for allowing him to do music at a tender age and supporting him immensely throughout his music career.

804 Individuals In Quarantine Released To Join Families – Akufo-Addo
Nana Addo Dankwah Akuffo in his 5th televised address to the nation stated that about 804 individuals who were part of the 1,030 travellers in mandatory quarantine have finally joined their families but the remaining 121 are in the process of being realeased.
79 persons out of the total number of 1,030 were initially found to be positive and appropriate measures were made for their isolation and treatments, he continued.
After 12 further days of quarantine, 26 other persons were found to be positive as a result of their second test. Making the total number of positive 105, all of whom have been isolated for treatment, he added.
Lockdown Extension To Be Decided Nextweek- Prez Akuffo Addo
President Akufo-Addo has asserted that his government will decide whether or not to extend the lockdown imposed on parts of the country next week.
In a televised address to the nation on Sunday April 5, 2020 the president stated that the decision will largely be based on the results of the over 19,000 tests that have been conducted as a resultthe enhanced contact tracing exercise.
He said the decision of the government on the matter will be driven by science and available data.
Akufo-Addo also noted that 15,385 out of 19,276 contact persons had been reached through the enhanced contact tracing and their samples have been taken.
“Thiswill determine our future terms of action,” he added.
Trust Fund Gathers ¢8.75m From Donations – Akufo-Addo
The President whilst speaking in televised address has disclosed that government the Covid-19 National Trust Fund has so far received a total sum of GH¢8.75 million in as a donation from the public. And also added that the amount also includes US$600,000.
The president commended Ghanaians by saying, “I am very grateful to the individuals and institutions who have also responded to my appeal for donations which has been established to fight against the virus, and to assist the welfare of the needy and the vulnerable.
A total amount of GH¢8.75million, which includes US$600,000 has been received so far for this purpose..
I am happy that so many of my appointees of my government have also donated their salaries to the fund.
He also applauded Ghanaians for heeding to the call for support which is meant to help the vulnerable and those who will be hit hard by the measures adopted to combat the virus in Ghana.
The President of Ghana, Nana Akuffo Addo has expressed deep displeasure over the sharing of fake videos which claims some personnels of that nation’s security agencies has been brutalizing innocent citizen in the course of the two weeks lockdown.
He said, the videos that have been shared are old ones and not involving the country’s army.
“t is unfortunate and it must end.”
The videos are fabricated and aimed at pitching the security forces against the citizens according to him..
He also added that some of the security personnels found guilty of such accusations are being dealt with and those personnels are being removed from post.
The president also commended the security forces who are ensuring the enforcement.
